The Uganda box is not the AED 400 box with a different sticker. From Dubai to Kampala the published price is AED 450. The carton is still 71 cm × 46 cm × 46 cm, still up to 50 kg, and Brightview still collects it from anywhere in the UAE. The extra fifty dirhams is the difference people miss when they copy a Ghana or Nigeria quote into a Kampala chat.
How the AED 450 is split
Pay AED 100 when the empty box arrives at your UAE address. Pay AED 350 when the packed box is collected. Pickup inside the UAE is included.
Customs are the point to ask about before you tape the carton. AED 400 includes shipping and customs clearance for Ghana, Cameroon, and Nigeria. For Uganda, Gabon, and Sierra Leone the site tells you to ask the office about customs first. Do that in the same WhatsApp as the booking, not after the box is already shut.
Kampala warehouse, not a doorstep
Collection is from the warehouse in Kampala. Tell the family the warehouse, not “it will come to the house”. If you need a different handover, ask before you book. The page to use is Request a Uganda box.
If you are still choosing the product, the comparison is box, courier, LCL, FCL, or air. Uganda is also on the weekly LCL list, which is the right door when the cargo is bigger than one carton and smaller than a container.
What the first message should contain
Your name, phone, UAE area, and “Kampala”. If you have more than one box, say the number. Add a short list of what you expect to pack, especially liquids, phones, and anything with a battery. The office would rather say no to one item now than hear about it at the warehouse.
WhatsApp Brightview about a Uganda box
The packing habits are the same as the Ghana box: heavy items low, liquids bagged, flaps able to close, 50 kg treated as a ceiling.
When the waybill is issued, use Track a shipment. The Kampala collection and the Dubai tracking number are two different moments. A locker status in Dubai does not mean the carton is in Kampala.
