The Cameroon box is the same carton as the Nigeria one, with a different city on the label. From Dubai it is AED 400, 71 cm × 46 cm × 46 cm, up to 50 kg, and the collection point on the other side is the warehouse in Douala.
That is the search most people are actually doing: not “freight terminology”, but “what do I pay to send a box home to Douala, and where does my family pick it up?”
The price, in the order you pay it
AED 100 when the empty box is delivered to your address in the UAE. AED 300 when we collect it packed. The total is AED 400, and that total includes shipping and customs clearance in Cameroon. Pickup inside the UAE is included.
If you have already read the Nigeria box price, the money is the same. The difference is the warehouse: Douala, not Lagos or Abuja.
What to send in the first message
Your name, a working phone, the area you are in (Al Qusais, Ajman, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, wherever the carton has to be delivered), and that the destination is Douala. If you need more than one box, say how many. The quantity field on the Cameroon box page is there for that.
A courier parcel is a different product. Documents and small commercial parcels can go door to door by courier. The standard box is the household carton with a published rate. Mixing the two in one message is how quotes go wrong.
Cargo that is bigger than a carton, but not a full container, belongs on weekly LCL. Cameroon is on that groupage list.
Packing for a Douala collection
Leave the flaps able to close. Put heavy tins at the bottom. Tape liquids, then bag them, then tape them again. Write a list of what is inside, in plain words. The person collecting at the Douala warehouse, and customs, both use that list.
