Terms and Conditions

By using the services of BrightView Freight and Logistics, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions.

3.1 General Terms

• All goods submitted for shipping must comply with local and international transportation laws.

• Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipment information, including content and weight.

• All payments must be made against an official BrightView receipt.

3.2 Prohibited & Illegal Goods

BrightView Freight and Logistics strictly prohibits the shipment of:

• Weapons, explosives, flammable materials

• Drugs or controlled substances

• Counterfeit items

• Cash, jewelry, or high-value items not declared

• Toxic or hazardous materials

• Any item prohibited by customs or aviation authorities

Legal Action Clause

If any illegal, undeclared, or prohibited goods are found inside the customer's package or box:

• The company reserves the right to hand over the customer to law enforcement

• The company will pursue legal action

• All shipments under the customer’s name may be suspended permanently

• No refund will be issued

3.3 Weight Limit & Additional Charges

• Customers must adhere to the maximum weight and size policy.

• Any excess weight will attract additional charges based on the company’s tariff.

• Misrepresentation of weight or content may result in penalties or refusal of shipment.

3.4 Cancellation of Shipment & Contract Breach

If a customer decides to:

• Cancel a shipment, or

• Collect back their goods after submitting them to the company,

The company will impose a contract-breach fee, calculated as a percentage of the total shipment cost, to cover administrative and operational expenses already incurred.

3.5 Packaging & Handling

• Customers are responsible for ensuring goods are properly packaged.

• The company may repackage goods if deemed unsafe for transport; repackaging fees may apply.

3.6 Liability & Limitations

BrightView Freight and Logistics is not liable for:

• Damages caused by natural disasters, customs seizures, or force majeure

• Delays caused by third-party partners, airlines, or customs

• Losses resulting from inadequate packaging by the customer

• Undeclared high-value items

3.7 Insurance

• Customers are encouraged to purchase shipping insurance for valuable or fragile items.

• Items not insured will not be covered incase of damaged

3.8 Dispute Resolution

Any dispute between the company and the customer will be:

• Settled amicably first

• If unresolved, referred to arbitration or the appropriate legal jurisdiction

3.9 Amendments

BrightView Freight and Logistics reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published and made available to all customers.
